Tips for repotting plants
Houseplants can be potted all year round. Wait for the end of April/beginning of May to pot up outdoor plants. Then the chance of night frost is at its lowest. Neither your plant nor your pot can freeze then. What should you pay attention to when repotting plants? Among other things, the right potting soil and hydro grains.

Good drainage with hydro grains
A good drainage is achieved by sprinkling a layer of hydro grains at the bottom of the pot. Hydro grains are baked clay granules which can absorb water. This prevents your plant roots from rotting because of too much water. Hydro grains absorb water and also ensure that your potting soil does not dry out quickly. You mainly use hydro grains for pots without a hole. So you will mostly use them for houseplants. If you have a nice outdoor pot without a drainage hole, then also use hydro grains.
